George Gimarc, producer of the nationally syndicated 24/7 comedy format Today’s Comedy, has been named a Texas Radio Hall of Fame 2019 inductee. The induction celebration will be held on Sat., November 2, at the Texas Museum of Broadcasting and Communications.
Gimarc is recognized for his work at KZEW, KDGE, and KRQX radio. In addition, he was deeply involved in the birth of multiple formats, including Classic Rock and the alternative called “The Edge.” Gimarc created the only radio format to receive a U.S. patent.
