August 19, 2019 marks 30 years for Bub McCullough with 101.3 WMCI in Mattoon, IL.
Bud Walters, owner of the Cromwell Group, was on hand to thank McCullough for his years of service. Walters also thanked Mattoon’s Jeff Owens, who was the first employee of WMCI. Owens and McCullough both helped put the WMCI tower up back in 1989.
When McCullough started at WMCI in 1989, he was on-air during the afternoons. Within six months he moved to host the Yawn Patrol and become Program Director of WMCI. He continues in those positions today. McCullough is also the Production Director for WMCI and sister stations 104.3 the Party, 92.1 the Axe, and Victory 103.9.
