Janoff Joins United Stations As CRO

United Stations Radio Networks has added Greg Janoff in the role of Chief Revenue Officer.  Janoff will oversee all of the company’s advertising sales efforts. He takes over for Jim Higgins who left the company suddenly and without explanation last week after working for the company for decades.

The announcement was made by USRN’s Chairman/CEO, Nick Verbitsky to whom Janoff will report.

Janoff has 35 years under his belt in the media industry. He will be based in NYC. Since 1995, Janoff has been in the New York City area where he held several upper management positions for CBS Radio and Entercom. He has served as VP/GM for WINS-AM (1010 WINS), VP/Director of Sales for WINS, WCBS, and WFAN, and Station Manager for WINS.   He also spent three years running Townsquare Media’s New Jersey and Michigan markets as their Regional VP which followed a two-year stint as EVP/Revenue for Merlin Media’s five radio stations in New York, Chicago, and Philadelphia. He got his start in the the Boston area after graduating from Boston University with a Broadcast Journalism degree.
