The Country Oldies Show, hosted by Steve Warren, is celebrating its 25th Anniversary. The program is one of the longest consecutive running country radio shows on the air.
Warren has had a career that has run almost parallel to many of country music’s earliest superstars. “When I started the weekly show it was a quirky little Sunday night program playing oldies in a Country music world of ‘Hot,’ ‘Young’ and ‘New’ Country radio formats, little did we know that those legendary country songs and artists had the staying power to survive and continue to attract a weekly national audience.”
Warren is a 2019 Country Radio Hall of Fame nominee. This Silver Anniversary year has been a special joy for him. “When I sit down to record each week’s program, it’s like being in the company of old friends; because that’s exactly what it is for me.”
