mediaBrew Closes Seven In Michigan

The company run by Chuck Williams has closed on the purchase of seven stations and translators from Great Lakes Radio in the Marquette, Michigan market. mediaBrew was founded by Williams in 2018. His goal is to own stations in Indiana, Michigan, and Illinois. The Great Lakes stations are mediaBrew’s first acquisition.

The seller, Great Lakes Radio, is owned by Todd Noordyk. Great Lakes will retain WQXO AM and one translator in Munising as well as WRPP FM in Manistique.

The stations in this deal are: three FM stations: WRUP 98.3 FM; WFXD 103.3 FM; WKQS 101.9 FM and four FM translators: W260AG 99.9 FM; W248BU 97.5 FM; W291CJ 106.1 FM; W286BC 105.1 FM.

The broker for the transaction was Bill Cate of Media Services Group. Terms of the deal were not released.
