Yesterday hundreds of friends, listeners and family members packed Generations Hall in Downtown New Orleans to honor the life of the late co-host of “Walton and Johnson,” John Walton who died July 1 at the age of 67.
The Walton and Johnson show launched in New Orleans back in 1983 on WQUE. Both John Walton and Steve Johnson were from Houston and were working on KPRC in Houston when Walton passed. John Walton was on the air for 36 years.
