Since the fall of 2018, KISS 108’s Matt Siegel has been hosting “An Evening With Matty in The Morning” at The Wilbur Theater in Boston. He has now sold out his ninth show. Matty in the Morning has been an Boston market staple on Beantown radio since Siegel first arrived at KISS 108.
The theater show, which has sold over 10,000 tickets, includes stories from Siegel’s career followed by a Q&A conversation with fans. During the Q&A, audience members have the opportunity to go behind the scenes and ask questions about his morning show and his career journey, as well as receive advice from Siegel about anything going on in their lives.
“When Matt came to me asking if I thought this would work, I said ‘sure, why not give it a shot,’” said Andrew Mather of The Wilbur. “Knowing the power of his radio show, I figured it would have gained some traction. I don’t think anyone ever thought we would end up selling 10,000 tickets over the course of this run and it’s astonishing. I am crossing my fingers that he decides to do a 10th show.”
