Power 106’s Nick Cannon Mornings is getting some new team members in Melissa Rios, Teddy Mora, and DJ Carisma. The show launched on June 17, with the rest of the team officially joining Wednesday.
Rios was previously the morning host at KXOL. “Growing up I remember listening to Power 106, so to be able to say I am a part of this family is surreal! I’m happy, I’m ready, I’m HOME!”
Mora started his career as a Power 106 intern and an event host for the Power 106 Flava Unit.
DJ Carisma returns to Power 106. She has released hit records with Chris Brown, Tory Lanez, Dej Loaf, and more.
Cannon said, “We have a strong team! To have the support system of Teddy, Melissa, and Carisma — people who are authentic to the culture and community — is important. One of the things I’m most excited about is to help develop new artists out of LA with Carisma!”
