On June 23, Cox Tulsa stations broke records in this year’s St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway. The stations raised $1,125,000 for the organization, the highest amount ever raised in Tulsa — and in record time. The fundraiser raffled off a home valued at more than $500,000 in the Stone Canyon community, along with several other prizes, during an hour-long broadcast.
“Each year we have a goal of topping what we did last year during the St. Jude Dream Home Giveaway, and once again, we did it,” said Cathy Gunther, CMG-Tulsa Market Vice President. “This is a special partnership for us.”
Dara Rue of Chelsea, OK, won the St. Jude Dream Home. Other prizes included a 2019 Chevrolet Equinox, courtesy of Route 66 Chevrolet, a trip to see Carrie Underwood at Madison Square Garden, courtesy of K95.5, and a $10,000 furniture shopping spree at FFO Home.
