Trenton Station Recognized With Awards

Townsquare station 101.5 WKXW-FM/Trenton, has received five New Jersey Society of Professional Journalists’ Signature Awards, for work done in 2018. The five awards recognize four of 101.5’s full-time staffers and one freelancer, for compelling news reporting on-air, online, and through the use of video.

The awards went to:
• Michael Symons and Sergio Bichao, second place in the Investigative Reporting category.
• Dino Flammia, second place in the Herbert Morrison Award for Best Audio Story.
• Michael Symons, third place in the Herbert Morrison Award for Best Audio Story.
• Louis C. Hochman, both the first and third place winner of the Gabe Pressman Award for Best News Video.

  1. Calling NEW JERSEY 101.5 . a “Trenton” station is like…SiriusXM calling Howard Stern “our morning man”. . Anne Gress the PD of NEW JERSEY 101.5 has generated over 1,000,000 cume and the station grosses more revenue than almost all stations in Philadelphia. It beats WABC in the NYC Metro in the demo. It’s quite something. Great awards, congratulations.
