At Country station WCTK-FM/Providence, RI, (Cat Country 98.1), they’ve breathed a breath of fresh air into mornings and middays. Madelyn Grimaldi will join Brian Mulhern for Cat Country mornings. Taking over Grimaldi’s vacated spot during the midday shift is veteran Providence personality Courtney Kelley.
Grimaldi has been with WCTK since 2015, working in promotions, social media, and on the air both at night and during the midday time slot. Kelley has been with WCTK since 2013, hosting weekends and doing fill-in. She had previously worked on the air at other Providence and New London, Connecticut, radio stations.
In making the announcement, Hall Communications VP/Programming and WCTK PD Bob Walker said, “Our philosophy is to hire great people and allow them to grow in our company and the industry. Being able to see these two talented personalities take on new challenges is what it’s all about.”
WCTK is celebrating 30 years as a Country music radio station this year.
