Well, the St. Louis Blues won the Stanley Cup on Wednesday night after a tough seven-game series with the Boston Bruins. And, naturally, folks in radioland never miss an opportunity to celebrate. Hubbard’s “adult hits” 106.5 the Arch in St. Louis will become Gloria 106.5 starting Friday afternoon at 3! (The 1982 hit “Gloria” by Laura Branigan is the Blues victory anthem.) And the good folks at the Arch tells us they’ll be playing the greatest Blues plays in hockey history, and the songs on the radio that year, every 15 minutes. Can’t wait for the puck to drop at 3 p.m. Party on, St. Louis!
