The second-largest broadcaster in the U.S. has just received no less than 16 2018 New York State Associated Press Association Awards. WCBS 880 (WCBS-AM) in New York received first place in seven categories, including “Outstanding News Operation for Radio.” Sister station 1010 WINS (WINS-AM) in New York was recognized with top honors in three categories. The stations collectively received second place finishes in six categories. Winners were honored at NYSAPA’s annual awards dinner on June 1 in Saratoga Springs, NY.
