The end of WPLJ wasn’t the only news made by Cumulus in the Big Apple. David LaBrozzi has been named PD for 77 WABC and Urban AC WNBM-FM after it was announced PD’s Craig Schwalb and Ken Johnson were gone. LaBrozzi had been programming WPLJ since May of 2018. Schwalb was programming WABC and Johnson was programming WNBM.
Before moving to New York, LaBrozzi was Vice President, Programming, for Entercom’s four-station cluster in Baltimore, MD, for 14 years. He previously served as Regional Vice President of Programming for Clear Channel/iHeart Media, overseeing stations in Pittsburgh, PA; Wheeling, WV; and Johnstown, PA. LaBrozzi’s career also includes programming stops in Dallas, TX; San Antonio, TX; Austin, TX; and Nashville, TN.
