KISS 104.1 (WALR-FM/Atlanta) welcomes two-time Grammy nominee and radio personality Monie Love to its weekday afternoon lineup. Beginning Wednesday, May 22, she’ll be on the air Monday through Friday, from 2 to 7 p.m. Since her start in British hip-hop in the late 1980s, Love quickly made her name and brought her talents and musical influence to the U.S. years later. She is well-known for her status as a protégé of Queen Latifah and association with Native Tongues in the late 1980s, early 1990s.
