There’s been some massaging of the programming at Atlanta Adult Top 40 Station STAR 94.1 (WSTR-FM). The station has added on-air personalities Mark Owens and Curtis Slade as co-hosts of Jenn & Friends, weekday mornings, alongside Jenn Hobby. In addition to contributing to the morning show, Amanda Kelly has been promoted to be the sole host of the midday show.
Mark Owens spent the last six years at sister station 92.9 The Game (WZGC-FM) in Atlanta as a producer. Curtis Slade began his career as an interior design consultant and then went on to host a weekly segment on WWXM-FM. Jenn & Friends will be produced by Jeannine Riley.
Prior to joining STAR 94.1, Kannon served in various roles for sister stations ALT 103.7 (KVIL-FM) in Dallas and WRDW (now 96.5 TDY) in Philadelphia. The move marks his return to Atlanta, where he previously spent five years at WBTS.
