Getting ready to launch a tour in Cincinnati with his band mates, Joe Don Rooney of Rascal Flatts was asked by Cincinnati Enquirer reporter Chris Varias if the group is getting ready to drop another album. Here’s what he had to say…
Rooney: “We’re not looking at doing an album right now. We look at how Spotify and the streaming services seem to be what’s happening. And of course, most importantly, for what we do, country radio is number one, period, for us. That’s our lifeblood to the fans. So “Back to Life” is the first thing that we recorded at the end of last summer, and it became a single, and it’s still working to this day. Right now the focus is the single.”
