Bustos Strikes Again

Bustos Media is purchasing KFNY-FM in Seattle from the Ocean Stations Trust II. The station was put into Trust by iHeart when it acquired the CBS stations in Seattle. The price is $3 million.

CEO Amador Bustos said, “The addition of KFNY will strengthen our presence in the Seattle market.   We will now have three FMs in this dynamic metropolitan area. I have been negotiating this acquisition for almost two years. For a while it looked very bleak but we stayed the course and finally got the deal done.”

“Since KFNY is licensed to Centralia Washington, and it has its transmitter site at Capital Peak, southwest of Olympia, it delivers a wonderful signal from as far south as Longview and all the way to Everette in the north” said Homero Campos Bustos Media Program consultant.

This will bring the total number of Bustos Media stations to twenty-four.

The deal was brokered by Bill Fanning of Media Venture Partners Capital, LLC (MVP).
