Alex Mac has been named Assistant Program Director for Alt Rocker ALT 106.3 in the Iowa capital. Mac will also continue to serve as the station’s Music Director as well as broadcast from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. as afternoon drive host. He will report to Dustin Fletcher, Director of Alternative Rock Programming for iHeartMedia St. Louis, and Greg Chance, Senior Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Des Moines. Previously, Mac served as evening host and promotions assistant for WRXL-FM in Richmond, Virginia, where he began his career.
