Canfest Benefit Raises Over $15K

Omaha, NE, New Country station KAT 103.7 held its 17th annual Canfest acoustic benefit concert, March 13, raising over $15,000 from ticket proceeds and six 50-gallon barrels of non-perishable food to benefit Food Bank for the Heartland.

Performances by country artists Riley Green, Runaway June, Jordan Davis, and Scotty McCreery were highlights. KAT’s on-air personalities Steve Lundy, Gina Melton, Hoss Michaels, and EJ hosted the event.

“Once again, our listeners stepped up to help a great cause and had a lot of fun doing it,” said Hoss Michaels, Program Director for KAT 103.7. “We thank our sponsors and artist lineup for a successful event.”
