WBGL/Champaign, Illinois, morning show co-host Johnathon Eltrevoog recently took on the challenge of C-U at Home’s One Winter Night event. Eltrevoog, along with 69 other participants of Camp WBGL, spent 12 hours overnight outside in a cardboard refrigerator box in an effort to raise awareness about homelessness. Together, the WBGL team raised over $27,500 for the homeless in the Champaign-Urbana community.
One Winter Night dedicated to educating the community about homelessness and what “our friends without an address” encounter every night. C-U at Home is a local ministry that seeks to engage and mobilize the community to house and support the most vulnerable homeless.
