Rich Berra, nationally syndicated co-host of iHeartMedia’s The Johnjay and Rich Show, has donated over $40,000 to the Johnjay and Rich #LoveUp Foundation from the sale of his original holiday storybook, The Tale of Christmas Steve.
With brisk book sales in 2017, when the book debuted, and a strong second year of publication in 2018, Berra committed all proceeds to benefit the #LoveUp Foundation Christmas Wish program. Now in its 16th year, Christmas Wish, on 104.7 KISS FM in Phoenix and syndicated around the country by Premiere Networks, provides food, clothing, comfort, and holiday gifts to those in need. In 2018, #LoveUp donated eight Christmas Wishes in five U.S. cities.
Berra said, “I wanted to share a story that I used to tell my kids. The positive message of the book resonated with our audience. I’m proud it was able to raise so much money to support one of #LoveUp’s most impactful programs, Christmas Wish.”
