Chicago media writer Robert Feder is reporting that Erich Mancow Muller will begin hosting mornings on WLS 890-AM starting January 3. Muller will replace Big John Howell and Ramblin’ Ray Stevens. Howell is taking over the 5 to 7 p.m. weekday slot.
WLS is owned by Cumulus. Muller tells Feder he’s been traveling the last year and has an endless number of tales to tell. This is the third time Muller will be working for Market Manager Marv Nyren, who’s fired him twice in the past.
