During the holiday break, Educational Media Foundation announced it was purchasing WATG-FM in Trion, GA, which serves the Rome, GA, market. The seller is TTA Broadcasting, which also owns Rome’s WLAQ and its FM translator. EMF is paying $200,000 for WATG.
