KBLX-FM is joining law enforcement in a gun buyback program December 15 in Redwood City. The Morning Dream Team is partnering with the San Mateo County Sheriff and police departments in Redwood City and Belmont to get guns off the street.
“Our goal is to make the Bay Area an even safer place to live and to provide a secure environment for the kids to play,” said Elroy Smith, Operations and Program Director. “Therefore, this initiative is perfect for KBLX as we believe in protecting our community from senseless violence.”
Participants will be given up to $100 for handguns, shotguns, and up to $200 for assault style rifles. No questions will be asked.
