Mica Cadena has been moved up from “Acting” to “Official” Program Director of Active Rock WXQR (Rock 105.5) at Dick Broadcasting’s Greenville-New Bern-Jacksonville cluster. Cadena is better known to listeners as L.A. Rocks.
“It was an obvious decision to promote Mica to PD of WXQR as she was doing the role already. WXQR has been on the air for 40 years, and recently Mica has lead WXQR to its highest ratings ever,” said VP of Dick Broadcasting Jason Goodman.
Market Manager Tony Denton added, “Mica is a true success story. She started with our company as an Intern six years ago. She has worked hard and learned a lot. She is a true Rock fan. That, along with her work ethic, made us turn to her when this opportunity became available.”
