Entercom Active Rock station WAAF-FM in Boston has been honored with a 2018 Sound Bites Award, sponsored by the Massachusetts Broadcasters Association. The station received first place in the “Digital Media” category for “LB’s Big Decision,” at the awards ceremony Wednesday, November 14, at the Framingham Sheraton and Conference Center in Framingham, MA.
The Sound Bites Awards were presented to broadcast radio and television stations in 19 categories. Founded in 1954, the MBA represents over 200 radio and television broadcasters in Massachusetts. The association highlights important broadcasting work throughout the state of Massachusetts through its annual awards contest.
