Breakfast Club Raises $200K

0

Popular Hip-Hop/R&B morning show The Breakfast Club raised over $200,000 to benefit PROJECT 375 — an organization whose mission is to raise awareness of mental health, ending the stigma, and raising funds for treatment — with their second annual #Change4Change radiothon on Thursday, November 15. DJ Envy, Angela Yee, and Charlamagne Tha God encouraged listeners to donate in support of PROJECT 375, a charity co-founded by NFL wide receiver Brandon Marshall and his wife Michi. Brandon, who after struggling with mental illness himself for years, was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder in 2011.

Listeners can still make donations until Monday, November 26, by texting: “change” to 52182 or by visiting www.BCchange4change.com.
