GEICO Staying Put At Number One

Once again the insurance giant was radio’s biggest advertiser, according to Media Monitors weekly chart. GEICO aired 47,571 commercials nationwide last week — an increase of almost 2,000 spots over the previous week. The Home Depot was back in the top five, bumping Walgreen’s from second place with 41,871 ads aired. Rounding out the top five were Lowe’s (31,748), Walgreens (30,807), and JC Penney (29,389).
