Manheim, PA, station fun 101.3 (WROZ-FM) is ready to get the Christmas party started, November 16 at 5 p.m., with all the great holiday songs, from classics to contemporaries. And they have a great competition cooking too.
“Since we are widely considered Central Pennsylvania’s holiday station, we decided we were just going to pick a time period and go with it,” said Vice-President and General Manager Billy Baldwin. “Research has found that generally around Thanksgiving people start to get into the Christmas mood.”
In addition, the station will crown the 2018 fun 101.3 Christmas Ambassador, who will get to pick the first Christmas song played on November 16 and hit the switch to officially start the Christmas music. They’ll then have their picture displayed on the radio station website, social media pages, and a billboard along Route 72/Manheim Pike in Lancaster throughout the holiday period. The station is also throwing in a pair of tickets for them to see Mannheim Steamroller Christmas in Hershey on November 30, and also send the Ambassador and a guest to New York City for an overnight stay at a 4-star hotel and send them to see the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular.
