SBG Unveils New Logo at Upfront Event


More from the big New York City gala hosted by Sun Broadcast Group. SBG also unveiled a new logo as well their 2019 theme “Shine On” as they prepare to celebrate their 10th anniversary next month. Sun Broadcast Group, now owned by Gen Media Partners Company, announced its 2019 network radio lineup at its annual network radio upfront event at The Rooftop Lounge.

The Preview” included performances by platinum recording artists AJR, SBG’s DJ Sinister, Rejoice Network’s Earl Bynum Choir and New York City 90’s cover band The Fresh Kids of Bel-Air. It was the first public event since Gen Media Partners purchased SBG in September.

In addition to celebrating the return of The Hit List, The Fitz Show, Country Fried Mix, Nashville Minute, Country Fastball, Remote News Service, Ashley & Brad and more, SBG welcomed several shows and services that will be switching syndicators in 2019 as well as many new shows making their radio debut.

They include:

  • The Jim Brickman Show
  • The Michael Baisden Show
  • Woody & Wilcox
  • DJ Goofy Whitekid
  • Wolfman Jack
  • SnoCountry Ski Reports
  • Car Pro
  • Girls World Expo

  • AirKast

SBG’s Hispanic Division, Sun Latino, also announced new partnerships including:

  • Futbol Mexicano
  • Echate Pa Cá
  • 40 Principales Countdown
  • Subeme La Radio
  • GLR Networks
