It’s just another indication of how radio takes care of its communities. Curtis Media Group’s WPLW-FM and WWPL-FM will host a benefit concert on October 20 to benefit those affected by Hurricane Florence. All proceeds will benefit the North Carolina Disaster Relief Fund and the American Red Cross.
Pulse FM Presents – Carolina Cares: A Benefit Concert, on Saturday October 20th at the Lincoln Theater. Featuring national recording artists Jake Miller (SONY RED), MKTO (CROOKED PAINTINGS), AJ Mitchell (EPIC RECORDS) and Elijah Woods x Jamie Fine (BIG MACHINE LABEL GROUP).
Curtis Media Program Director Jud Heussler said “It was amazing to see the artist & record label communities reach out to see how they could help. A massive thank you to Mark Thompson and the Lincoln Theater team for stepping up to host this event too. We were able to put this show together in about 10 hours, simply amazing.”
The event will also feature a silent auction.
