A lawsuit filed against KQRS morning man morning man Tom Barnard by the estate of his late attorney Ron Rosenbaum has been settled and Barnard will pay nothing.
The suit that was filed in August 2017 alleging the Cumulus morning man stopped making payments to the Rosenbaum Trust in March 2017. Channel 5 is reporting that Rosenbaum represented Barnard in contract negotiations with KQRS in 2014. He died in 2016. The suit, asked for $50,000, and claimed the contract required Barnard to pay 5 percent of his KQRS salary through the end of 2019.
Barnard’s attorney told Channel 5 “This case should have never been filed, and the results speak for itself.”
