Joe Johnson has been named Program Director and afternoon drive on-air personality for Classic Rock 100.7 WRDU/Raleigh, NC, effective September 24. He will report to Chris Edge, Area Senior VP of Programming for the iHeartMedia Raleigh and Greensboro Markets. Johnson joins iHeartMedia Raleigh from WROV Roanoke-Lynchburg where he most recently served as the PD and afternoon personality for the past seven years. He began his career at WXTB-FM and is a graduate of the University of Florida.
