The Saga CEO says this year (though mid-October) will be his final year as Chairman of the Radio Music Licensing Committee. The RMLC represents the interests of radio on music licensing matters and Christian has played an important role on that committee for a very long time.
Christian has been on the RMLC board for over 25 years, the last 10 as chair, the last two as co-chair. Christian tells Radio Ink he’s been very fortunate to recruit John Verstandig to the board to serve first as vice chair and now co-chair. “I will still be involved to a degree with RMLC, but the position of chair has become very involved, and I do have a really nice radio company to oversee.”
