Radio programming veteran Jimmy Steele has been named Program Director for 97.5 WABD-FM/Mobile, AL. Steele will continue in his current roles as Operations Manager, Cumulus Media-Mobile, and midday personality for WABD. He also serves Cumulus Media-Mobile as Program Director of WXQW-AM. He takes over the WABD programming reins from Sid Kelly. Steele has over 30 years’ experience as a radio programming professional, and joined Cumulus last June. He has programmed for several iHeart stations and served Saga Communications in Columbus, OH, as Operations Director/Brand Manager.
