Spreaker Removes Alex Jones Podcasts

As has been widely reported over the past few days, YouTube, Facebook, Apple, and Spotify have all banned Alex Jones from their platforms. They are claiming Jones’ ramblings are hate speech. Alex Jones has been using Spreaker as a secondary host provider for his podcasts. Spreaker VP and Head of partnerships Rob Greenlee tells Radio Ink Jones is coming off the Spreaker platform as well. Here’s their statement…

“Spreaker, the secondary hosting provider solution where the Alex Jones Show podcast has been hosted, announced today that the show has been taken down because it violates our Terms and Service Conditions because of Hate Speech. This decision will have an impact on some major podcasting listening platforms that distribute the content via the Podcast RSS feed and listening via Spreaker’s listening apps, web audio players, and website.”
