The folks at St. Louis’ 105.7 The Point know how to get those charity dollars rolling in. The long-awaited Rizzuto Show “Lock In” Punishment saw hosts Burton, Moon, and Patrico spending 24 hours straight together in a booth at Gingham’s Homestyle Restaurant in St. Charles, Missouri. Also, the annual Donny Fandango 28-Hour radiothon took place Thursday, July 25 and Friday, July 26. The final tally of donations was $52,964.
The Point’s Promotions Director Matthew Chambers, said, “Thank you so much to all of the Point listeners who donated, and to Gingham’s Homestyle Restaurant for contributing nearly $10,000 to the Radiothon total.”
Program Director Tommy Mattern added, “Our listeners’ and sponsors’ generosity and support for the Ronald McDonald House Charities of St. Louis goes a long way, and is greatly appreciated by everyone at The Point!”
