Fredericksburg, VA, stations WBQB (B101.5) and NewsTalk 1230 WFVA have hired Fredericksburg native Amanda (Mandy) Smith as Marketing Director. Smith will manage promotions, events, and social media for the stations and accompanying digital platforms. Prior to joining Centennial Broadcasting, Smith was Marketing Director for the Spotsylvania Towne Centre for over 11 years. She was also a part-time employee of B101.5, 1999-2005, serving as a promotions assistant and part-time on-air personality.
