Buffalo’s Best Headed To Local Hall Of Fame

This year’s Buffalo Broadcasting Hall of Fame induction ceremony will be radio heavy. The Class of 2018 includes longtime DJ and current Star 102.5 (WTSS-FM) host Roger Christian, Buffalo native Tom Langmyer (pictured) who managed some of the most successful stations in the country, and 97 Rock PD John Hager.

Former Western New York radio executive, the late Mary Lounsbury, will be honored with the Broadcasters Memorial Award. The Buffalo Broadcasters Memorial Award is given to a deceased broadcaster who made a lasting impression in the broadcasting industry.

The Buffalo Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will be held on Thursday, September 27 at the studios of WNED-TV in Buffalo. Cocktails and dinner will begin at 5:30 p.m. and the ceremony starts at 7:00 p.m.
