On-air personality Mike Valenti has signed a new long-term contract extension with 97.1 The Ticket (WXYT-FM) in Detroit. Valenti will stay on as afternoon drive host doing The Valenti Show, weekdays 2:00 p.m.-6:00 p.m. ET. Valenti joined the station for afternoon drive in 2007. Before joining The Ticket, he co-hosted The Sports Inferno on Sports Radio 1270 (WXYT-AM) in Detroit.
