Washington’s WTOP was honored last week with an Innovation in Sales Award, presented by the Institute for Excellence in Sales. WTOP won out over 19 other finalists in the innovation category. Honorees were presented Friday, June 15, at the IES Award breakfast gala at the Fairview Park Marriott in Falls Church, VA.
Awards were handed out in four categories recognizing sales and business development operational excellence. Partners, customers, and clients nominated this year’s winners and finalists for their leadership and vision in sales. The four categories are for excellence in Sales Innovation; Sales Training; Team Building, Management and Development; and, Alliance Management/Customer Partnering.
Director of National and Federal Sales Jeffrey Wolinsky said, “With a desirable audience, WTOP’s sales staff continues to grow its value to local, regional, and national clients through custom marketing solutions that begin with the clients’ needs and end with continual renewals as 91 percent of the companies that invest at the super key account level renew each year.”
