On June 8, Westwood One News received the Sigma Delta Chi award for breaking news coverage of last year’s mass shooting in Las Vegas. The award was presented at the Society of Professional Journalists dinner at the National Press Club in Washington, DC. Westwood One News was the only commercial and network radio winner.
