Hubbard St. Louis Wins Bounty Of Awards

Hubbard St. Louis Radio Group was recognized with multiple awards at the 2018 Missouri Broadcasters Association Annual Convention, held June 1-2 at the Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake of the Ozarks, Missouri.

The awards are:

New Country 92.3 (WIL)

  • First Place in the “Large Market Radio” division for the “Public Service Announcement or Campaign” category, for the “Shriner’s Radiothon.”
  • First Place in the “Large Market Radio” division for the “Station Sponsored Community Event” category, through the station’s “Bud and Broadway Bikes, Balls and Barbies” toy and fund-raising campaign.
  • Honorable Mention in the “Large Market Radio” division for the “Station Sponsored Community Event” category, for the station’s “Flood Relief Benefit Concert”.
  • Honorable Mention in the “Large Market Radio” division for the “Air Talent/Show” category, for “Stacey and Jonah” PM Drive time slot.
  • Honorable Mention in the “Large Market Radio” division for the “Commercial Announcement” category for their creative production of “Goat”.

KSHE 95 (KSHE)

  • “Large Market Radio” Honorable Mention for the “Promotion” category, for their creative production and execution of the “Sammy 5-4-3-2- Promotion.

106.5 The Arch (WARH)

  • First Place in the “Large Market Radio” division for the “Air Talent/Show” category, for “Spencer’s Neighborhood” in the AM Drive time slot. 
  • Honorable Mention in the “Radio (No Classes)” division for the “Station of the Year” category.

Hubbard Radio St. Louis

  • Honorable Mention for “Corporate Award for Community Service” for the station cluster’s “Shriner’s Cash for Kids” Event Broadcast and Coverage. 

Commenting on the Hubbard Radio St. Louis wins, Vice President and Market Manager John Kijowski (at left in photo) notes, “I am proud that our stations and team members were recognized for their creativity and commitment to excellence by other broadcast professionals from across Missouri.”
