Corey Calhoun has been named the new night on-air personality and Music Director for Country station 98.7 WMZQ/Washington, DC, effective June 4. Calhoun will broadcast weeknights, 7 p.m.–12 a.m. He will report to Jeff Kapugi, Regional Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia DC-Baltimore. Calhoun joins WMZQ from WAMZ in Louisville, where he served as the morning show host for the past two years. Prior to that, he was the afternoon host and Assistant Program Director for WAMZ.
“Corey completes the WMZQ team,” says Kapugi. “He brings a fresh new energy to the station and some great experience spanning multiple markets and formats.”
