95.7 Jamz/Birmingham, AL, morning show host, comedian Rickey Smiley, was touched by a viral social media post that showed student Corey Patrick walking to the bus stop in his cap and gown in order to travel to Tarrant High School and graduate. To honor his achievements, Smiley has decided to surprise the motivated teenager with a vehicle at 7 a.m. Friday at the 95.7 Jamz Studio.
“Corey is an inspiration to us all,” said 95.7 Jamz Program Director and midday host, Nu York. “His determination for success must be praised and recognized. Corey teaches us all a great lesson about endurance and how to push through, no matter our circumstances.”
