Amy Griesheimer has been named Area President for iHeartMedia’s Denver Region. iHeart’s Denver region includes 29 stations in Fort Collins; Colorado Springs; Ogallala, Nebraska; and Cheyenne, Wyoming, which will now fall under Griesheimer’s supervision. Griesheimer was with Entercom until last October. She’ll report to Tim Hager, President for iHeartMedia’s Denver Region, and will be based in Fort Collins.
Griesheimer has 29 years of broadcast radio experience. Her background includes Vice President, Director of Sales, General Manager, and Market Manager positions at stations in Denver, Seattle, and Madison, Wisconsin. Griesheimer’s numerous recognitions include being twice nominated for Radio Wayne Awards by Radio Ink. She began her career at KSPN-FM in Aspen, Colorado, and graduated from the NAB Executive Development Program for Radio Broadcasters program, which is a part of the Georgetown University McDonough School of Business Executive Education program.
