In Washington, DC, Emily Sklar has been named the new on-air personality for Hot 99.5’s The Kane Show, effective Monday, May 14. Sklar will be on-air weeknights, 7 p.m.–12 a.m. She joins the Washington D.C. market from Detroit, where she most recently served as the midday jock on Channel 955, “Detroit’s No. 1 Hit Music Station.” Before taking over middays, she began her career as an intern for Mojo in The Morning at the station. Sklar is a graduate of Michigan State University.
