More Changes At USTN

The restructuring continues at United States Traffic Network. On Wednesday, USTN hired Richard Marks as Chief Operating Officer. Marks will work directly with CEO Ivan Shulman to rebuild the USTN brand, grow the company and increase revenue.

USTN was recently purchased by Shulman from Australian company GTN. The company is suffering through a period where it has been unable to pay radio companies for the inventory it purchased in advance and was unable to sell. Shulman is hoping to rebuild the company.

Marks has worked for Westwood One Company and Shadow Broadcast Services/Metro Networks. Prior to joining USTN, he served as COO at Focus 360, a national radio network and digital sales company. He said he looks forward to leveraging his expertise working with a wide range of broadcast media companies to help USTN. “Ivan and his team are reinventing the way we think about the traffic business, and I am pleased to be a part of the next chapter.”
