Kaplan Lands SVP Programming Role In NYC

Mike Kaplan has been named Senior Vice President, Programming and Program Director of ALT 92.3 (WBMP-FM) in New York. In addition, Christine Malovetz will join ALT 92.3 as midday host and will be on-air from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. EST weekdays, starting Monday. Kaplan joins Entercom from IHeartMedia, where he was Program Director for ALT 98.7 (KYSR-FM) in Los Angeles. Prior to programming in Los Angeles, he was Program Director for Entercom’s Alternative station 107.7 The End (KNDD-FM) in Seattle and 96.5 The Buzz (KRBZ-FM) in Kansas City. Christine Malovetz was most recently host of middays and Assistant Program Director for KNOU-FM in St. Louis.
